The Nesting House started in 2010 as a natural extension of the lives of the two women who opened the store. As mothers of small children living in the Germantown section of Philadelphia, Jennifer Kinka and Meredith Jacoby sympathized with local consumers’ desires to find quality retail for themselves and their children without breaking budgets, harming the environment or taking advantage of the people behind the products they are purchasing.
